Welcome to the CDS Download Site
CDS is available for both Windows and Mac.
Before proceeding, be sure you have your CDS license number and activation code. You will need these before you can install or update CDS on your computer.
CDS requires Microsoft Windows on Intel-compatible (x64) computers.
Mac requires Apple Silicon M-series processors and MacOS version 14.4 and newer.

Woodpack Global administers all licenses for CDS. If you have any difficulties downloading the software, contact Support.
What's New in CDS
Woodpack Global unveils CDS version 1.0 as a standalone product.
What to Expect in CDS 1.0: Limited to two basic crate styles (sheathed & cleated and basic lumber box). Design guidance is provided based on accepted industry best practices. Analysis coming in future release.
September 15-17, 2026: Crate Design and Performance Course, Blacksburg, Virginia: Join Woodpack Global and Virginia Tech for a 2.5-day, in-person training on the principles of wooden crate design, built around CDS. Course information coming July, 2026.
